Habs Legend Béliveau Reaches Out To Space

MONTREAL – Canadiens icon Jean Béliveau said Monday he hopes to host a Boston Bruins fan later this season at a Habs home game – Canadian astronaut Dr. Robert Thirsk.

Thirsk, in his 111th day in orbit working on the International Space Station, had a brief chat with his childhood hockey hero via ground link to the Canadian Space Agency in Longueuil.

Thirsk recalled that he used to watch Béliveau on black and white television.
