Hoodstock. Tensions set aside for Villanueva event.
The two-day Hoodstock festival is like group therapy for the community of Montreal North, participants said yesterday, the first day of activities marking Sunday's one-year anniversary of the death of Fredy Villanueva.
The event, at the riverside Aimé Léonard Park on Gouin Blvd. in Montreal North, is the culmination of weeks of organizing by more than 50 volunteers from the citizens' group Montréal Nord Républik.
