The Bixi bicycle-rental service is being hailed as a success, unless you're the owner of a bike-for-hire business in the heart of the city's tourism mecca.
"Absolutely, it's stealing our business," said André Giroux, owner of Ça Roule, located on de la Commune St. in Old Montreal across from the waterfront.
"On weekends, there are lineups at the Bixi stations."
