MONTREAL - Fans are advised not to fret over which Canadiens player will wear the captain’s C next season because new head coach Jacques Martin isn’t worried.
In fact, Martin suggested the team may start the season without a captain.
“You have to develop your own leadership,” Martin said after viewing the first day of the Canadiens development camp in Brossard. “If nobody emerges as a captain, that’s not an issue for me.”

My Comment: You need a Captain ... someone that some of the other players can look to.
