MONTREAL - Louise Harel is attracting support among well-known Montrealers and hoping some will be candidates in the Nov. 1 municipal election.
Harel, the former Parti Québécois cabinet minister and Vision Montreal’s candidate for mayor, has asked David B. Hanna to run for the party.
Hanna is an urban affairs professor at Université du Québec à Montréal and department director of its PhD program, who is chairing one of five working groups the party has created to develop a platform.
