From The CBC:There has been a slight drop in crime related to street gangs on the island of Montreal, police said on Wednesday.
In the first six months of 2009, Montreal police said there were 40 per cent fewer murders related to street gangs than in the same period last year — but the number of attempted murders related to street gangs is up slightly.
The police force released its semi-annual report on street gang activity Wednesday morning.

My Comment: I have no idea on what they are talking about .... where I live crime is as bad as it was before, and many families are now leaving.
