MONTREAL - The sticker price on Montreal’s water-management contract with the Génieau consortium is $355.8 million, but the city will have to spend an estimated $67.8 million on top of that over the next 25 years to make the program work.
A key component of the project – a command centre necessary for the city to receive and analyze data from the water-management equipment – is not part of the deal.
