CHARNY, Que. — Pierre Letourneau has never been to the Olympics, but he did something no one else can claim to have done: he swam the 250 kilometres between Montreal and Quebec City in the St. Lawrence River.
He swam seven hours a day for seven days. That was in July 2006.
“You could say it was pretty intense,” Letourneau said of his feat Friday as he waited for his friend Francine Amyot to carry the Olympic torch in Charny, on the south shore of Quebec City.

My Comment: I am underwhelmed .... but I do know that I represent a very small minority (at least that is what my young step daughters say).
