Huge Bonaventure Pothole Should Be Repaired By Noon Thursday

MONTREAL – One of the three westbound lanes on an elevated portion of the Bonaventure Expressway could be be reopened to traffic “about noon” Thursday – after being shut Tuesday morning by the abrupt appearance of a pothole about one metre in diameter, a roadway spokesperson said Wednesday evening.
That lane reopening will take place mid-day “if everything goes well,” said André Girard, speaking for Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Inc.
Road crews were continuing repair work at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, in the right-hand lane near the landmark Five Roses sign.

My Comment: Potholes usually show up in springtime .... something tells me that this must be a monster hole.
