NHL Suspends Plekanec For 2 Games

Montreal Canadiens forward Tomas Plekanec was suspended for two games by the NHL on Thursday for an incident the previous night during the team's loss to the Edmonton Oilers.
Plekanec took the legs out from under Edmonton defenceman Denis Grebeshkov during the second period, sending the Oilers defenceman into the boards.
Grebeshkov suffered a high ankle sprain on the play, for which Plekanec was given a two-minute penalty for tripping.
