Quebec health officials have confirmed that a second person in the province has died from the H1N1 flu virus.
Dr. Alain Poirier, Quebec's director of public health, said the victim is a Montreal man in his 40s who "had an underlying disease that lowered his immunity."
Earlier this week, an elderly woman over the age of 65 was first person to die from the H1N1 flu in Quebec.
