MONTREAL – If this was the final test the Alouettes will face until the division final – and they would never admit that – they passed with flying colours.
And in the process, nobody can criticize them for playing out the string over the final weeks of the regular season.
In their first game since clinching first place in the East Division, the Als had little trouble with the defending Grey Cup champions, defeating the Calgary Stampeders 32-11 Monday afternoon before another capacity crowd at Molson Stadium of 20,202 spectators.
