Harel ousts Labonté over phone calls to businessman
In the end, it wasn't the anonymous allegations that made up Vision Montreal mayoral candidate Louise Harel's mind.
It was the phone calls.
"Early this morning, at daybreak, in fact, I spoke with Benoit Labonté," she told reporters yesterday as she explained why she asked for the resignation from the party of her second in command and executive committee chairperson in waiting.
