After defeating the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 in the USL Championship Final on Saturday, players for the Montreal Impact were honoured at city hall Tuesday night.
There was lots of cheering as the soccer team's 24 players and three coaches presented their Championship Cup to Mayor Gerald Tremblay, and signed the city's book of honour.
The Impact first won the championship in 1994, then again in 2004.
