MONTREAL After subsisting 16 months in creditor protection, Quebec racetrack operator Attractions Hippiques finally pulled the plug Wednesday, saying it had “no other alternative” but to file for bankruptcy and cease operations at the racetracks in Montreal, Trois Rivières and Quebec City, and 16 teletheatres from Jonquière to Sherbrooke.
