MONTREAL — So you think robots and solar-powered machines are recent phenomena? Think again.
These and a host of other items that have become commonplace were springing from the fertile mind of Leonardo da Vinci hundreds of years ago.
And Serge Grimaux, one of the organizers behind an exhibit on the Renaissance-era inventor and painter, says he thinks it's time people were reminded of that.
"Everybody knows Leonardo da Vinci but nobody knows Leonardo da Vinci," says Grimaux, whose 'Leonardo da Vinci: Man, Inventor, Genius' show began its unlimited run at the downtown Centre d'Exposition de Montreal on April 7.
