QUEBEC - Quebec confirmed six new cases of swine flu Wednesday, bringing the total to 10.
Public health authorities said the new patients contracted the infection after travelling to Mexico and the cases are considered mild.
“They are all in good shape and they are not hospitalized,” Alain Poirier, director of Quebec’s Public Health Department told a news conference.
Three of those patients are in the Montreal area, one in Chaudiere-Appalaches on the south shore of Quebec City and two in the Lanaudière region.
