Black Eyed Peas, New Kids on the Block, Akon, Hedley and Live are among the acts performing at Virgin Festival's first Montreal edition.
After holding events in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver in recent years, Virgin Festival hopes to draw 30,000 fans to Jean Drapeau Park on June 19 and 20. The fest is also expanding to Halifax.
Virgin Festival is working in partnership with Gillett Entertainment Group for the Montreal and Halifax dates. Gillett runs the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival in early August, and has exclusive rights to hold concerts at Jean Drapeau Park.
