Jonathan Roy Pleads Guilty In Hockey Assault Trial -- CBC

A former junior hockey player charged with assault after a violent fight during a game pleaded guilty Wednesday in Saguenay, Que., as his trial was about to begin.

Jonathan Roy, a former goaltender for the Quebec Remparts, was charged following a brawl with opponent Bobby Nadeau during a 2008 junior hockey league game.

Roy's father, former Montreal Canadiens goalie Patrick Roy, is the Remparts head coach and owner.
