The wait is over. After a week of interviews, festivities and parades, the Montreal Alouettes and Saskatchewan Roughriders take to the field in Calgary for the 97th Grey Cup on Sunday.
It’s the second straight Grey Cup appearance for the Alouettes, who will look to erase the memories of a loss in the 2008 Grey Cup at the hands of the Calgary Stampeders in front of their fans at Olympic Stadium.
The Roughriders, who won the Grey Cup in 2007, will be looking for the second league title in three seasons after going 10-7-1 this season and finishing atop the Western Division standings.
