Montreal police were investigating on Tuesday the ninth arson attack at a bar or coffee bar in about three weeks.
At 3:55 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a 911 call triggered automatically by a fire alarm inside the Ferrari Bar on André Ampere Ave. near Armand Bombardier Blvd. in Rivière des Prairies, Montreal police Constable Olivier Lapointe said.
When they arrived they saw that the window in the front of the bar had been broken and a small fire had already burned itself out, indicating the use of a Molotov cocktail, Lapointe said.
