'I Didn't Ask,' Earl Jones's Wife Says

Deposition: Money man's spouse swears she never knew the source of their millions.

MONTREAL - Hundreds of thousands of dollars flowed through Maxine Jones's bank account annually, and she never questioned where the money was coming from.

The source was an "in trust" account containing funds deposited with Earl Jones by his alleged victims, and money from that account paid for the weddings of the couple's daughters, the purchase of condos in Dorval, Mont Tremblant and Boca Raton, Fla., and such expenses as curtains, carpets, furniture and landscaping.

My Comment: She may not have asked, but I am sure that she enjoyed the lifestyle that it gave. Ignorance is never a good excuse in front of the law.
