'Politics is the art of inclusion,' premier says.
QUEBEC – Premier Jean Charest indicated Monday that his Quebec Liberal Party is open to members of Action démocratique du Québec who want to become Liberals.
Last week, Éric Caire, who lost a bid for the ADQ leadership to Gilles Taillon in October, and Marc Picard, who was demoted by Taillon, announced they would sit as independents, reducing the ADQ caucus to four from six members.
