Too long. Too unwieldy. And too easy.
That's some of the unflattering feedback from several teachers about the provincial English Language Arts exam Grade 11 students will write in May.
Teachers haven't seen the actual exam, but they've been told what to expect.
"There were people that were silently stunned, and volubly angry," said Elizabeth Lenihan of a session last month where Grade 11 teachers from private schools were briefed on the exam.
