Montreal's Transit Service Fails Us All Once Again -- A Commentary

Showing once again their customary foresight and level of concern for their customers, Montreal's bus service and commuter-train service are both treating today as a holiday. Good luck if you're among the thousands of Montrealers trying to get to work today. Laval and Longueuil bus services, like Montreal's, are thumbing their noses at users with reduced service today and Monday

There was a time when Good Friday was the quietest day of the year. The Friday before Easter is the most solemn day in the Christian calendar. So when this was unequivocally a Christian society, law and custom combined so that almost everything, except churches, closed up tight.
