City Gives Green Light To CBC Condo Project

The CBC tower will be turned into condos and about 2,200 apartments will be built on the huge parking lots that surround the building.

Montreal city council has approved a massive redevelopment plan for the Radio-Canada site on Rene-Levesque blvd. on the eastern edge of downtown.

The $1.6 billion condominium project would reshape the area, turning the central tower into condos and erecting low-rise buildings on the large parking lots on either side.

My Comment: This is a big project .... and my church is just across the street. I expect the entire area to be different in 10 years when the project is completed.
