FIA reinstates Canadian Grand Prix To Formula One Schedule -- Canadian Press
PARIS — Auto racing's governing body has ratified its calendar for the 2010 season and reinstated the Canadian Grand Prix, provided contract negotiations with Formula One management and Montreal organizers are completed.
The Canadian Grand Prix had been held at the Montreal track annually since 1978 before being dropped this season.

Formula One has always featured special vehicles designed specifically by car manufacturers for racing purposes and optimized to be as aerodynamic, fast, and maneuverable as possible. Most past and present F1 drivers, which represent the “creme de la creme” of the car racing world, trained on and became experts at kart racing, or karting, in their younger days.
