Three festivals have added their voices to the protests surrounding Équipe Spectra president Alain Simard’s controversial August announcement that the FrancoFolies de Montréal festival would be moved to early June from its late-summer slot next year.
In a joint statement issued today, The Suoni Per Il Popolo festival, the Off Festival de Jazz and the Montreal Fringe Festival complained that the new dates for FrancoFolies – June 9 to 19, 2010 – are in direct conflict with their own June lineups.
