OTTAWA -- Alexei Kovalev set the record straight Saturday: yes, he has a home in Ottawa. Judging by his performance against the Montreal Canadiens, he's starting to feel at home on the ice as well.
Kovalev opened the scoring against his former team with a short-handed goal and added an assist in helping the Senators to a 6-1 pre-season win at Scotiabank Place.
Earlier in the day, he got a reminder of the kind of microscope he once played under during almost four seasons with the Habs.
