Longueuil Couple Attacked In Home
From The Montreal Gazette:
LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC- Longueuil police say an apparent home invasion early Wednesday is likely linked to drug trafficking.
Police received a noise complaint about 2:10 a.m. on Marquette St. the Vieux Longueuil district of Longueuil, on the South Shore of Montreal. When they arrived, they found nothing on the scene.
About 20 minutes later, another call was lodged. When police checked inside the home, they found a man in his 30s who was seriously injured and a woman in her 20s who was tied up.
Police said the man is in critical condition this morning, though they could not yet confirm the nature of the man's injuries.
The woman is being treated in a hospital for shock.
Investigators are on scene this morning to determine the circumstances of the attack.
