As sure as spring is making its way around again, so is the flood watch in Laval.
"People that live around here are used to it and they're not surprised," said Nathalie Lorrain, of the Laval police.
Higher water levels this year mean some sections of roads are being closed off. Riviera in Fabreville on the north shore of Laval is one of the roads partially closed.
