$450,000 art project axed Nuns' Island installation's mist turned into fog, limiting drivers' visibility.
A $450,000 public art project at the entrance to Nuns' Island is being scrapped because of "security concerns" said Verdun borough mayor Claude Trudel - to the joy of residents and dismay of architects.
Apparently, the mist emitted from sensors inside the roundabout at one point turned into a thick fog limiting drivers' visibility.

My Comment: $450,000 in a depressed economy and cut backs in government services .... you got to be kidding.
