MONTREAL – Montrealers generally approve of the performance of the Mayor Gérald Tremblay, a Global News survey conducted by the polling firm Ipsos has found.

When asked about the performance of the mayor, 62 per cent of respondents said they either strongly approved or somewhat approved of the job he was doing. That compared with 55 per cent who were favourable to city council, and 46 per cent who approved of municipal workers.
