A Green Light For Green Space?

Meadowbrook Golf Course could be on the road toward permanent greenness if a committee of Montreal's agglomeration council - and other groups - have their way.

In the greater southwest region of the island of Montreal, there is a richness in population but a dearth of green space.

For approximately 20 kilometres between Mount Royal and the green zones opening up just past Kirkland in the West Island, there are no substantial retreats where residents of Notre Dame de Grâce, Hampstead, Côte St. Luc or their neighbours can escape their congested urban wasteland to go for a walk in the woods.
