CFL Admits Booth Goofed In Als' Loss To Lions

Clock glitch nullified late Montreal touchdown.

VANCOUVER – The Canadian Football League’s off-field supervisors made a blatant error late in the fourth quarter of Friday’s game between the Alouettes and British Columbia, victimizing Montreal, director of officiating Tom Higgins has admitted.

“We take responsibility,” Higgins said during a phone interview Saturday with The Gazette. “It was an unfortunate end to the game, and the officials became involved.”
