Montreal's 7-2 start is masking some troubling issues.

MONTREAL – This should be a feel-good story. The Alouettes are 7-2, possessors of the best record in the Canadian Football League midway through the schedule, on Labour Day, when people will argue the real season begins.

But are there any of you out there - at least those whose cheques aren't signed by Robert Wetenhall - who honestly believe the Als are the class of the CFL? Not likely, and certainly none who express their feelings to this scribe on a regular basis.
