This Is No Way To Run Metropolitan Transit -- A Commentary
From The Montreal Gazette:
Amid all our city-hall scandals, snow-removal misery, immobilisme, demerger blues, potholes, tax-base stagnation, and other problems, nothing stands out quite as glaringly right now as the confusion, inconvenience, inefficiency, and annoyance of the introduction of the Opus card.
That's not to say the difficulties with Opus are Montreal's most serious problem. Far from it. Almost any of those mentioned above is more serious. Slowly but steadily the Opus card is coming into use and people are figuring out how to use it; long after we all take it for granted, other problems will persist.

My Comment: I use the OPUS card .... and I have no problems with it.
