Montreal Canadiens: After Five Straight Losses, Team Recalls Marc-Andre Bergeron

The Montreal Canadiens will try to stop their losing streak at five straight games on Tuesday night when they host the Atlanta Thrashers.

Acquired after Andrei Markov's injury, Marc-Andre Bergeron will play his first game with the Canadiens.

Outside Ilya Kovalchuk's playing quality, the Thrashers have never represented a force in the NHL since their arrival. It is then a good occasion for the Habs to snap out of their losing streak with a strong performance. The Canadiens have not given a full 60-minute effort so far this season and it would be a great time to start doing so.

My Comment: Marc-Andre Bergeron is no Andrei Markov .... and as such it will not change the Canadien's performance tonight against the Thrashers. The Canadiens know that they are in trouble.
