Charity sets fundraising target of $54 million.

MONTREAL – An estimated 18,000 people from all walks of life took to the city’s downtown core over Thursday’s lunch hour to underline Centraide of Greater Montreal’s freshly announced fundraising target of $54 million for this fall’s campaign.

That sum would match the amounts raised both last year and in 2007.
