A Haitian-born man who was fighting deportation from Canada after serving a prison sentence for theft and assault was sent back to his native country this week.
This comes despite a UN ruling that said the expulsion would violate John Michael Dauphin's civil rights.

My Comment: What a stupid idiot. He does not have any sympathy from me. Committing such a serious crime will have consequences .... but in his case it has "truly" ruined his life.

i agree if have criminal history u should get deported at the same time haitian very good people the like to work care for their family gave them a chance im haitian i love my people
