Stretch of de la Gauchetière St. becomes Avenue des Canadiens de Montreal
MONTREAL – The most storied hockey team on Earth has a new address.
As a Montreal blue-collar worker hovered in a cherry picker in a steady downpour, representatives of the city, the Canadiens hockey organization and former Habs player Réjean Houle unveiled a new street marker, proclaiming that a stretch of de la Gauchetière St. will now be known as Avenue des Canadiens de Montreal.

My Comment: "Of course" they decided to leave out the English version .... "Montreal Canadiens Avenue".
