Cruise Ships Ply The St. Lawrence River Around Montreal By Day And Night

The spectacular cityscape is coming into focus as we sail toward the King Edward Pier at the Old Port: historic Old Montreal contrasts with the modern downtown skyscrapers in the distance, which in turn contrast with the natural, lush backdrop - Mount Royal.

A resplendent Paul de Chomedey, sieur de Maisonneuve, is standing on the deck of the Cavalier Maxim, taking a break from extolling the virtues and explaining the history of the city he founded, as Ville Marie, 367 years ago.
