Another alleged Ponzi scheme has surfaced in Montreal, this time involving close to 100 middle-class people who invested millions in an offshore company.
Lawyer Jacob L. Rothman, who filed lawsuits this week on behalf of two alleged victims, slammed Quebec securities regulator Autorité des marchés financiers for not doing its job of protecting people.
