Nine Alouettes Named CFL All-Stars

The Montreal Alouettes dominated the CFL's East Division this season, and they dominate the CFL's all-star team, too.

The Alouettes placed nine players on this year's all-star squad - five more than any other team in the league.

Quarterback Anthony Calvillo, running back Avon Cobourne, guard Scott Flory and receiver Kerry Watkins made the offensive all-star team, while defensive end Anwar Stewart, defensive tackle Keron Williams and linebacker Chip Cox made the defensive squad.

My Comment: Only nine? They have been having an excellent year, and none of their games have been a disappointment.
