PQ Leader Pushes French To Front -- Canada.com

MONTREAL -- Parti Quebecois Leader Pauline Marois is back and she wants to take on the issue of the importance of French in Quebec more aggressively than ever.

In her closing speech at a Parti Quebecois' meeting in Montreal yesterday, she promised to make small companies more French and impose mandatory studies in French at the college level. These measures will eventually be added to the Parti Quebecois' platform, the leader said.

My Comment: Imposing mandatory studies on French in English colleges is a direct attack against higher education in Quebec. It is bad enough that they want to force babies in daycares to a French environment .... but college. In college you focus your studies on engineering, science, law, etc .... but French?
