Earl Jones; Clients trusted life savings to money manager

The missing West Island businessman suspected of bilking clients out of as much as $50 million is described by those who know him as smooth, friendly and personable.

Earl Jones, 60, is a family man - husband to Maxine, the father of two adult daughters, Kim and Christine, and a grandfather of three, the latest born just weeks ago.

Jones owns a home in Dorval and a condo in Mont Tremblant. He is a member of the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation's board and of the West Island Chamber of Commerce.
