Canada To Require Visas From Mexico, Czech Republic

Canada's announcement that it will impose visa requirements effective a minute after midnight Tuesday on the top two sources of refugee claimants — Mexico and the Czech Republic — prompted a quick and dissatisfied reaction from those countries.

Immigration Minister Jason Kenney said Monday that many of the asylum requests are either rejected or abandoned, raising questions about the legitimacy of the claimants' allegations that they face persecution in their home countries.

My Comment: This changes are long overdue. I live only half a mile away from a row of apartment buildings that houses "refugee" claimants. If someone wants to support these claimants, my only advice to anyone is that they should move there for three months, and then come back to me and say that they still support the program that permits people from these countries to come here.

The mass majority are here to abuse Canada's social welfare system, and they do not make any excuses for it. The worse offenders are the Roma from Europe (by far).
