Villeneuve Ponders Return To 'Exciting' F1

Formula One racing's new look has Jacques Villeneuve contemplating a return.

He admits the chances of that happening are remote, but the 1997 world champion has dreams as grand as his talent.

Villeneuve is closely watching rule changes, three new teams arriving next year and a political struggle between F1 teams and the governing body FIA that still threatens a breakaway series in 2010.

"Formula One has become a lot more interesting and exciting - for drivers, anyway," he said yesterday. "The chances are slim, but I'd return tomorrow if the opportunity was there.
