MONTREAL – As homecomings go, let's agree it never will be confused with Guy Lafleur's 1989 return to the Forum in the uniform of the New York Rangers.
And as results went, it did nothing to put the brakes on a Canadiens team that's skidding down the standings on a dangerously icy road.
The Habs lost their fifth straight game Thursday night, falling 3-1 to the returning Guillaume Latendresse and his Minnesota Wild.
