Calgary Airport Surpasses Montreal For Traffic

The Calgary International Airport is now the third busiest airport in the country.
The Calgary Airport Authority yesterday announced approximately 12.5-million passengers travelled through Calgary in 2008, a 2% increase from 2007.
"The airport is well-positioned to continue to grow and develop as Alberta's economic gateway to the world," said Garth Atkinson, president and CEO of the Calgary Airport Authority.
